SINGULARITY GARDEN
2025

Singularity Garden (2025) is a robotic zen garden that explores the fragile balance between calm, repetition, and technological presence. The installation consists of two circular islands in which robotic arms continuously trace patterns in sand. Their movements are precise, slow, and seemingly serene, yet they carry an underlying sense of unease.

While the garden evokes contemplation and stillness, its endless, automated gestures raise questions about purpose, autonomy, and control. The work reflects on the growing entanglement of natural rituals and artificial systems, and on how technology increasingly shapes not only our environment but also our inner sense of meaning and time.
